We are still waiting for a response to the Iranian announcement.
Certainly, this is not the “full agreement” that Trump posted about three hours ago, and perhaps those congratulations were premature.
That’s at least what it’s pointing to.
It’s also confusing how these timelines line up because, frankly, they don’t. Trump had said six hours from the time of his post, which was at 22:00 GMT – that would be the beginning of this so-called ceasefire.
Obviously, Iran is not on the same page about that.
So there is much fluidity in the air, and we are still waiting to see how Washington responds to all of that.

This framing of Iran having to be on the same page is insane.

Iran didn't have much of a choice considering the destruction of much of their air defense by Israel. The shirley temple curl crew established total air superiority over Iran and ran roughshod over that country.

With that, you can't bring out launchers for larger missiles without it being noticed by Israel and them being blown to smithereens. Iran had to resort to using older long range missiles out further in Eastern and Central Iran. Iran couldn't keep up with the salvos in large numbers and Israel's Iron Dome struggled to handle these barrages so here we are.

I'm not convinced this ceasefire will hold.. Israel's true objective is regime change and I'm fairly certain once they have regrouped and fully rearmed that we will be right back at the very point we were a few days ago. The wildcard is this. Iran's AD network is beyond crippled and it will take longer to rebuild it than it will take for Israel to fully reload and strike harder. The key to where this is going lays with what Russian Former President Medvedev said in that there's other countries that will be willing to supply Iran with nuclear warheads to fend off western aggression.

Iran has no other choice but to quickly assemble and utilize a nuclear weapon when Israel comes back for them.

Israel says Iranian missile attack under way​

Israel’s military says it has detected the launch of missiles from Iran towards Israeli territory.
It called on the public to take shelter if they receive an alert and said its air defences are “working to intercept the threat”.
We will bring you more when we have it.

The issue, of course, is Israel. Trump isn’t really trying to do anything to Iran. This is all Netanyahu. The issue is they will still attack Iran even with the ceasefire, then we’re back a square one.
