It's a country of 9 million people that's about the size of Jersey lol. They were trying to fight a country three times the size of Texas with a pop. of 90 million. I don't care how many F-35s they have, it wouldn't have ended well for them.
Trump alluded to it himself and many on the right admitted as much that Israel was calling for the end of the conflict once it was clear that Trump didn't want to participate any longer due to the division in his base.
