This is hyperbole. It can't be ww3 when most of the world doesn't give a damn.
With the absence of Assad, Russia has no stake in the region. China , Japan, and Korea couldn't care whatsoever. Latin America doesn't give a damn. Australia is uninvolved. While Africa is sympathetic, not a single person is going to lift a finger to fight on either side of the conflict.
Worst case scenario is closer to another Iraq war. Where white people come together in order to bully and destabilize a nonwhite country under the guise of "freedom"
