Yes all the political content creators I follow that are mostly right wing conservatives are 100% against this. They all saying this is none of our business and we need to stop fukking with IsraelI have backed most of our military actions, but this one I can't. We should have let IOsrael and Iran duke it out and call it a day. Now we are knee deep in it for absolutely no reason. There is no benefit to us at all. All of my close friends arre veterans, half of them support this. The group chat was a bit firey today. One of the supporters has a daughter in the Marines. I was giving him the side eye when he was celebrating.
Well we can't undue things the best of the bad choices is full on regime change. Hope the moderates in Iran can take back control and make it most western. At least they have a highly educated population relatively speaking and have a history of western influence. Glad I am out here in Hawaii. I pray to God none of our airmen get shot down over Iran.

This question is a little bit off topic but strategically, why didn't Iran develop a navy or a submarine fleet? 
They have access to a gigantic protected lake to practice on, and Iran has access to one of the biggest shipping lanes in the world through the ocean.
Subs would be almost impossible for Israel to bomb. And most of the US missiles are coming from the sea fleet. Now I understand that Iran has huge mountain ranges to hide in, but so does North Korea and they still invested heavily in destroyers and nuclear submarines to stop this exact scenario.
