‘No war with Iran,’ Democratic lawmaker says
Democratic Congressman Ro Khanna has added his voice to a small but growing list of US lawmakers warning against military action against Iran.
Khanna, who represents California’s 17th congressional district in the House of Representatives, said on X he would support a resolution requiring Trump to receive congressional approval before entering Israel’s conflict with Iran.
Republican Representative Thomas Massie said earlier that he would introduce the War Powers Resolution on Tuesday.
A number of other lawmakers, including Democratic Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and independent Senator Bernie Sanders, have also expressed their opposition to US involvement in the conflict.

All this nuclear talk, I think it’s kind of funny but it’s completely on code that out of all countries who can make in-house nuclear weapons, only North Korea has zero nuclear power for its citizens.
Creating nuclear weapons seems more complex than supplying power via nuclear reactors and power plants. Granted I know there’s infrastructure you need to install but these dudes chose to skip all that entirely and they’ve instead been making nukes going back nearly 20 years ago, so plenty of time to get nuclear power up and running around that country.

America will lose more money and manpower if it gets involved in this while China is continuing its plans to invest in infrastructure and technology. Imagine what we could've done with the money wasted on Iraq. Imagine what would've happened if instead of sending trillions over the years to a country that does absolutely nothing for us, that money was reinvested back into black people as reparations to close the wealth gap. The amount of scientists, doctors, artists, engineers etc. Would've multiplied the American economy.We as Americans have to admit
