US stealth bombers on the move - report

A group of US stealth bombers appear to be on the move as tensions increase over whether America will join the Israel-Iran conflict.

According to Fox News, flight tracking data shows the B-2 warplanes, which are designed for long-range strike missions, heading off the west coast of America.

The reports adds that the bombers apparently refuelled after launching from Missouri, indicating they launched without full tanks due to a heavy onboard payload.

The B-2 aircraft are capable of delivering the 30,000lb bunker buster bombs needed to attack Fordow, the Iranian nuclear facility buried 300ft inside a mountain.

On Thursday, Donald Trump said he would make a decision on whether to strike Iran "in the next two weeks". The deployment of the bombers suggests the US president may be prepared to launch a strike sooner than expected.

It's unclear where exactly the bombers are heading to, though. Reported destinations include either Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean or a US military base in Guam.

The US would need British permission to launch strikes from Diego Garcia, over which the UK maintains sovereignty.

This would not be necessary if they deployed from the base in Guam.

US bombers heading to Guam

We now have more to bring you on the earlier report that the US is moving several of its B-2 bombers (see 15.46 post).

Our US partner network NBC, citing two defence officials, says a group of bombers took off from the Whiteman air base in Missouri overnight and are now heading to Guam.

It's unclear at this point whether the bombers, which are designed for long-range strike missions, are planning to land at Guam or not.

The B-2 aircraft are capable of delivering the 30,000lb bunker buster bombs that would be needed to successfully attack Fordow, the Iranian nuclear facility buried 300ft inside a mountain.

Diego Garcia is within range of hypersonics so that base will absolutely get mopped if they carry out the operation. They’ll have to fly out of Guam most likely.

I think at this point Iran has proved it ain’t scared and will attack everybody before it gets taken down. America should clear everyone from any nearby base if they carry out the operation.

If Americans soldiers die via the counterattack, MAGA is finished. shyt, if I were Israeli I might move out of America. The racism is going to get crazy.

I honestly don’t think it’s worth it, but we’ll see.

Today’s Iranian drone barrage just latest attack on Israel

Reporting from Amman, Jordan
Al Jazeera is reporting from Amman, Jordan because it has been banned in Israel and the occupied West Bank.

Israel has signalled that its campaign may take longer to achieve its objectives than originally indicated. So, what damage is it sustaining from Iran in return?

On Saturday, there have been no missiles so far, but at least 40 drones were sent from Iran, with at least one of those infiltrating Israeli airspace. Israel says some fires were caused by falling debris.

Israel says, since the start of this fighting, that some 450 missiles have been fired from Iran and more than 400 drones.

It says that 5-10 percent of those missiles get through its defence systems, and that it allows some of them through deliberately. That’s because they know they’re going to fall on open ground, so they don’t want to waste interceptor weapons on them.

Nevertheless, 25 people have been killed, and hundreds wounded so far, according to official Israeli statistics.

Death toll in today’s Israeli attacks on Gaza rises

Here is your reminder that, in parallel with Israel’s constant attacks on Iran, and its periodic attacks on Lebanon, it is continuing to kill tens of Palestinians in the Gaza Strip daily.
More than 30 people have been killed in the Gaza Strip since midnight today, medical sources tell our team on the ground. At least 11 of those were killed while waiting for aid.
Here is a breakdown of the death toll by location:
  • 16 people have been killed in south Gaza.
  • 5 in central Gaza.
  • 5 in Gaza City, in the Shujayea and Zeitoun neighborhoods.
  • 5 in were killed in an air strike that targeted a group of people in the Tuffah neighborhood in east Gaza City.

Yemen’s Houthis say they will target US ships if Washington strikes Iran

Yemen’s Houthi rebels will target US ships in the Red Sea if Washington gets involved in Israel’s attacks on Iran, the group’s military spokesperson says.
Yemeni state media reported the statement, which the spokesperson said reaffirmed the group’s firm stance against “Zionist aggression” directed at any Arab or Islamic country.
Since 2023, the Houthis have launched attacks on Israel and shipping in the Red Sea in what they say is support for Palestinians in Gaza.
In May, the US and the Houthis agreed to a ceasefire in which neither side would target the other.
Houthi supporters hold up mock missiles and drones during an anti-US and anti-Israel protest in Sana'a, Yemen, 09 May 2025. Thousands of Houthi supporters gathered in Sana'a to protest against the recent bombing campaign by the United States and Israel targeting Houthi-held positions in Yemen and to express their support for the Palestinians in the Gaza Strip. Houthi leader Abdul-Malik al-Houthi said in a televised speech that the group has carried out over 130 attacks on Israel since mid-March, using 253 ballistic and hypersonic missiles and drones, in support of the Palestinians in Gaza. Airbase commander says airstrikes on Iran blunting ballistic missile fire

The commander of the Hatzerim Airbase says Israeli Air Force strikes in Iran are reducing the ballistic missile fire on Israel.

“We are targeting the enemy’s missiles, weapon depots, launchers, and personnel, thereby reducing the number of launches at the State of Israel,” says Brig. Gen. “Ayin” in a video, who is only identified by his first initial for security concerns, despite his full name being available on the IDF’s website.

The IAF has conducted over 1,000 sorties over Iran in the past eight days, with fighter jets dropping hundreds of munitions on Iranian ballistic missile launch and storage sites, disrupting its attacks on Israel from western Iran, the military says.

IAF drones have also struck numerous ballistic missile launchers and eliminated dozens of Iranian soldiers at the launch sites, according to the military.

The IDF says these strikes make Iranian soldiers “feel hunted,” adding that they “have been observed abandoning and fleeing” the launchers.

Iran’s forces have been pushed eastward and southward due to the strikes, the IDF says. Each day, new strikes are carried out against the launch sites in western Iran to prevent Iranian forces from returning to them, according to the military.

The IAF estimates it has so far taken out over 200 ballistic missile launchers, or about half what Iran had before the conflict.
