This makes so much sense why they're holding off on the X Men. I know Fiege's hands are itching and they're trying to stretch everything out as much as possible until then. Fantastic 4 should keep them pretty busy though.

Ain’t D23 right around the corner as well? They’re definitely coming with the heat and X-Men seems exactly like something they would want to catch folks by surprise with then.

All this “contractual obligation” jargon as of late reminds me of when trades like Variety tried tempering folks’ expectations the week before the SDCC slate reveal.

It wouldn't be a big deal if it was just the actors. They would have no problem using Fassbender and the youngers ones. Problem is they also have to work with the producers and directors too. MCU wants nothing to do with Bryan Singer and his vision

Bryan Singer is a gay pedophile and FOX vision and casting choices were terrible. Hugh Jackman is a phenomenal actor, terrible choice. Fassbender, McAvoy, Oscar Isaac same.

It could've just as easily been:

Fassbender - Mr. Sinister
Hugh Jackman - Sebastian Shaw or Exodus
James McAvoy - Nightcrawler
Oscar Isaac - Wolverine

Magneto was either too damn old or too damn young. Patrick Stewart was the only obvious choice and perfect casting.....spot on.

There are PLENTY of young black designers out there dying and dreaming of opportunities like this that are just as good if not better.

If these white folks and Asians are complaining, give the black folks some of these jobs.

Yes, indeed this may still be overwhelming for them too.

But it would give them a great opportunity to get this experience and maybe put this on their portfolio/resume and open up more doors for them.

At minimal, they’ll work hard on all this and be fine with everything

You can pretty much expect the supporting X-men cast will be race-swapped around. Dunno about Rogue, but I can see them making Gambit a creole breh. Rege Jean Page maybe.
