A lot of people criticize Fast Life! But it's the same group of people tho, the real rap dudes. If you listen to tapes of some of the underground or real rap sets on NY radio at the time they were playing remixes of that record because they didn't like the beat.


I'm not saying I agree with these dudes. You from NY and I always found it interesting how there's such a disparity between what the average (black) NY/east coast dudes thought at the time VS what NY/east coast purists thought. I always argue if Biggie didn't die these dudes would have hated on Life After Death.
