I think Nas should work with Alchemist simply because I enjoy their work together. I don’t feel he’s overrated cause he’s white. I feel he’s being properly rated cause he’s putting in MAD work. Son literally moved from working with superstar rappers to focus on his craft more and work with more underground rappers and it’s paid off handsomely. There’s no many other producers of his stature doing what he’s doing other than maybe I guess u can say Pete Rock but Pete Rock is a dikkhead don’t doesn’t have nearly the output as Alchemist. Havoc is as well but him and Al are basically connected. And I like KD1 better than Alfredo by the way.
I like It Never Ends off Lost Tapes 2. But yea I feel that. I’m not saying I would prefer it over certain producers. I honestly would love a collab with Alchemist, Cardo Got Wings, and certain others.Alchemist has been on a godly run and has actively sought out the premier underground talent (Armand Hammer/billy woods, Boldy James, Roc Marci, MIKE, Earl, etc) as well as the premier mainstream guys (Cole, Kendrick, Drake, etc). He's on a historic run. And while I'd love to hear him work with Nas again, I'm not 100% sure they're on the same page sonically. Nobody wants to hear Nas over drumless beats, and a lot of the shyt Alch does with drums also doesn't sound like it's up Nas' alley. That being said if Nas tapped in I'm sure Alch would get back to the basics and dust off the hard snares/70s samples/etc to create something dope.
I don't agree but a lot of people online felt that way.Objectively Alfredo is better than KD1 imo it should've won. Nas should've won for KD2 & KD3

I also think Tip is a dope executive producer also. Wasn’t he heavily involved in Behold A Dark Horse?A lot of guys were there for a potential LIG follow up in that 2014-2019 era, basically before KD. Statik prob had the best beat on Lost Tapes 2 and something that hard prob should have resulted in more work. I loved that Nas worked with 40 and Bo1da on Life Is Good btw, their styles fit him. TBH a lot of pre-Views Drake era sonically fit Nas. He tapped into it with Hit Boy again on Reminisce. The 90s reverb, downtempo shyt...that's right up Nas' alley more than a lot of shyt people think is his style (see: Griselda shyt).
I also would have loved to hear Nas work with Sounwave, Evidence, Terrace Martin, and some other guys in that post-LIG time frame. Would have been a perfect time to tap in with Q-Tip too. Hell after Tip laced LL with that fire shyt last year, IF we get another Nas album after the Premo one I hope it features Tip heavily.
Man 40 and bo1da would produce fire for Nas! I’m in the minority but old Drake and Nas could have produced a few a dope songs together.A lot of guys were there for a potential LIG follow up in that 2014-2019 era, basically before KD. Million percent agree with everything written hereAlchemist has been on a godly run and has actively sought out the premier underground talent (Armand Hammer/billy woods, Boldy James, Roc Marci, MIKE, Earl, etc) as well as the premier mainstream guys (Cole, Kendrick, Drake, etc). after what he did with the LL album I wouldnt be madI'm ready for a Tip produced Nas album as a sequel. Get the battle of the illmatic producers after the Preem album. Pete Rock's hating ass can stay over there. I could also use a havoc album
I still say Drake on Replace Me would’ve been Nas’ biggest hit record. Would’ve def pushed the numbers for KD1 to another level.Man 40 and bo1da would produce fire for Nas! I’m in the minority but old Drake and Nas could have produced a few a dope songs together.
