Well deserved. Trainspotting is a dope album, great project for Mass Appeal's catalog too.

I wonder if it was a one off or Rome will give them another album.

If Life is Good didn't have SUMMER ON SMASH on it, or even better if it replaced that with ADULT FILM or BEAUTIFUL LIFE, it would be a LOCK top 4 Nas album for me.

SOS is a bottom 3 Nas song for me. Down there with Big Girl Now and Big Things. My stannery allows Nas a lot of passes, but these are in no way ok.

Not mad at this take. As a listen I actually prefer KD2, but I think the highs on LIG are higher. Black Bond, Where’s the Love, and Trust should have all replaced the 3 weakest songs on the standard release.

I think the highs on Stillmatic are among the best in his career but the lows bring it down for me to where I have it 6-7 in his discog which seems crazy but is more a testament to the quality releases over the past three decades (and my preference for more even, consistent projects).
