And this is fine. What would be the problem with Nas doing a “Nas and friends” concert?

Nothing. But if you had a list of potential performers for the SB, how many years would "Nas and friends" win out starting in 2027 (Bad Bunny is 2026)? And be honest.

But that’s a different discussion. Point of the matter is them nikkas saying he COULDNT do. And saying they wouldn’t wanna see it. So u telling me they would rather watch Bad Bunny go up there and perform shyt? There a whole black community that ain’t from up north that prolly don’t fukk wit son at all.

Bad Bunny is a great performer with multiple recent hits though. He puts on a show. I'm sure Nas COULD create some type of show worthy of a SB stage but it's worth noting he's never done anything like that. Not to harp on Kendrick again but we've all seen his performances from the Paris show to the Grammy performances. It's an actual show or spectacle worthy of a stage, VS a rapper standing on stage rapping. Same reason that while Jay has more hits I don't think he'd fit at the Super Bowl, given his performances are similar to Nas'. Same with Eminem. Same with Drake, who is a god awful performer - worse than everyone previously mentioned.

If he didn't go insane the best hip hop choice for this, in any year, would be Kanye. It's supposed to be a spectacle, not just a concert night at MSG.

No they weren’t. They saying Nas COULDNT do one and that’s just not true. It would have to be more of a legacy show than current but he damn sure could do one. shyt J Lo music career BEEN finished and she did one with Shakira. Nas could do a “Nas and Friends” like Dre did. I mentioned Kendrick cause while Kendrick was a big artist. nikka ain’t perform damn near ANY of his hits on that stage. nikka performed a bunch of album cuts and anyone who even insinuated that Kendrick should’ve performed more of his hits got attacked for it. U not gonna tell me bout hits from a legendary artist like Nas when u just let Kendrick flex a whole superbowl with album cuts.

bro J-Lo & Shakira are international pop stars...Kendrick was the biggest artist in the world.

Nas is NOT a super bowl type performer.. he even knows that.. and thats not a big deal.

Nas got songs wit J Lo. Nas could easily do a “Nas and Friends” and be fine. Why could Kendrick perform a bunch of shyt nobody heard but Nas can’t perform his hit records? Somebody needs to explain that to me.

Kanye and Diddy would’ve been perfect if not for the circumstances.

Can Nas do a Super Bowl? Maybe.

IF he did, the reality is it'll be 1 of the lowest viewed performances.

He really hasn't got that Star Power to bring in viewers like other artists out there.

Nas has sold over 25 MILLION ALBUMS in the United States throughout his career. Thats more than Mary J Blige, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and some others who have performed at the Superbowl.

Saying Nas doesn’t have “Star Power” for the superbowl is absolutely ridiculous. There’s only one rapper in the United States who is equal to Nas in Billboard top ten placements for albums, and thats Jay-Z. And you wouldn’t dare say Jay doesn’t have the “star power” for a Superbowl performance.

Naw,., they were being realistic

Super Bowl isn’t Nas crowd
That’s for the masses/pop radio crowd

Kendrick was the biggest star in the world last year with one of the biggest hits of all time ..

Nas fans be delusional sometimes

Delusional is thinking Hip Hop's greatest MC and Goat catalog can perform at the SB?

And he cannot do it because some middle aged white couple from Indiana never heard of You're Da Man? Seriously Foh

If Nas cannot do the SB, then WU Tang definitely cannot. So what you people are telling me, is the two greatest collectives in Rap history are not SB worthy. All because it doesn't touch white middle America? Again gtfoh

Y'all sound like y'all scared to rep the culture

Public Enemy can perform at the SB
Fuvck whatever you brainwashed negros talking about

shyt is crazy lol. Nas ain’t got nothing to do with the SB, hasn’t expressed interest and no one asked him to do it. It was a dumb question to begin with.

Most definitely not a dumb question.

Wtf else is there for Nas to accomplish ?

Hey Nas...what about the World Cup? What about the Super Bowl? Makes perfect sense to ask that question to a musician of his caliber.

It's basically a "what motivates you to keep going" type of question

Superbowl isn't the barometer for a rapper's rapper. It was a tongue in cheek question that didn't really warrant this kind of radio/public discourse imo.
