I see players are still sliding around the court.
Damn players be sliding around the court since Live 95.
How can they not get this animation right for over 20 years.
Because they give u more freedom.
Like 2k uses a whole block under the player, while live uses the block only under the player feet.
Thats why in 2k u get stuck to defenders and in Live u can breeze past them.

Well I ain't gone lie I bought Live '15 when it was on sale for $15 on PSN a couple of years ago. The presentation was on point but it was too easy to score/lack of defense made me go back to playing 2k. If EA could get the gameplay mechanics together they could give 2k a problem.

Live '06 was the beginning of the end for me. They made the exact copy of the previous installment with a few "upgrades" that year. The following year I jumped ship to 2k starting with 2k7. Live just continue to spiral over the years.
2k has grown stagnant with every installment after 2k12. I won't be buying 2k18 unless it's some groundbreaking shyt.

If EA could get the gameplay mechanics right they would have never lost that lead in the first place. I just don't think they have what it takes.
EA needs to sell this game for $35 dollars.

one of my biggest gripes about 2k is it was too hard to get past defenders on the dribble
