2K has great gameplay, but the biggest difference is the approach.

I am a big created player guy in sports games and it is refreshing to play a game in where the game is what matters...not an increasingly difficult VC grind just to upgrade attributes. The Streets mode is what I would call the best part of the game right now. The game is a solid foundation going forward in terms of gameplay, modes and structure. They do need to add more features to the overall game such as team/franchise management, but baby steps. They are finally taking the right approach instead of rushing shyt out to the market.

Live 2020 is going to be lit if they continue this progression, but for $30-$40 there is enough here to keep basketball fans happy I am sure of it.

Honest to god, if this had a legitimate pro-am with solid timed 5 v 5 with fouls/rules, I'd prolly never play 2K again.

It's not the lack of features and how horrid the franchise mode is makes it lose out on the few couch GMs/sim players....But they are moving in the right direction where as 2K is trending downwards to me.

Games been fun so far. Only issue now is the crowd chants for teams that are not playing. Last of my free advice. Game is good tho

Tough to know the exact numbers of people playing at any given time, but I never have trouble getting into games these days.

The price drop helped tremendously.

What I love about the franchise mode and playing against the computer is that superstars will kill you unlike 2k.
