for many years bernier was the guy the kings were going to keep and trade quick
but quick got hot like many goalies and players do during the playoffs (take a look at bryan bickell yesterday)
so your admitting that you didn't watch im play in last years playoffs. win a cup, a conn smythe and go back to the west final to lose the eventual champ and only have one "one playoffs run" brehs.

i think brent has been good this year, keith has been superb though, especially defensivelybrent seabrook leads all dmen in plus minus and hes been crap all year?

quick was drafted in the third round in 2005, was not projected to be what he turned out to be. lombardi got hired in 2006. lombardi always builds his team from the goaltender on out. he drafter the hot shot bernier with his first rounder in 2006. bernier was projected to be the next Roy for us. Bernier was given every chance to be our starter, heck, he even started the season with the big club in 2007. in 2009 Quick got the call up and slowly emerged as the #1. his 2011-current play is not a "hot" run, like you claim. He paid his dues and TOOK that #1 spot that Bernier was being groomed for, as the golden boy.
he played his first game back yesterday after 2 months off. he can take october - february off every year for all i care, he's established himself as THE money goalie in the game. we'll leave the regular season stats to the Carey Prices, Ryan Millers and Roberto Luongos of the world.so your admitting ur nbot watching him this season with a middle of the pack save % and GAA

Quick is no different than Ryan Miller before him other than the 1 cup....Few years of greatness and reverted back to the middle...
2 of my hawks buddies told me that he was outright horrible defensively in the first 20 games. thoughts ?
like I said, I think Keith is the best dman in the game and has been for a few years now, so you won't get any argument from me.
2012 he established himself as the best in the game,right now hes in a group of about 5-6 goalies....

Breh no rookie drafted high gets thrown to the woodfire, bernier got 4 starts his rookie year, liek how many rookies get their under 9 games just for a little bit of nhl potential but 99% of players get sent back down to the minor.

its amazing how you ride quick so hard,w hen dude only had 1 good year out of 7. 1 season of a gaa average under 2.20, 1 season of a sv percentage of 91
maybe, if he tanks in the playoffs this year, then you might have a point. but i just dont see it. the guy is a fukkin wall in the offs.
last 2 playoffs:
1.86 gaa .934 save %
1.41 gaa .946 save %
those #s even hall of famers would kill to have.
so you expect me to think he's gonna tank in the playoffs this year ? reminds me of last year when he had an average regular season and went back to god mode in the offs.
