He's been slumping badly since the day he got named to the Olympic team. Bad pinches, bad passes, and poor defensive positioning. I think the contract negotiations and poor relationship with Michel Therrien are messing with his head.

That said, Therrien was a complete fakkit yesterday. It was a horrible mistake by PK last night, but he should not have been benched for the entire overtime. You live and die with your best players. Not only did he bench PK in OT, but also Daniel Briere who had 3 points and the ultra talented Alex Galchenyuk. The sooner he's fired, the better.

Feels like this was made simply because of how we've gotten stopped against Quick the past two years. Ott should give us some help offensively too.

miller is a legit goalie, the type you can ride in the playoffs, plus elliot is still a good backup.
