Is it worth it to buy a 3DS? for you know the 3d capabilities or should I stick with a 2DS?

i rarely used the 3d feature myself, but a few games that made good use were:

Mario 3D land
Zelda Link Between Worlds
Face Raiders (lol)

and I suggest you get a 512 or 128 sd card

the manual only states 64 as the max, but that's false, as long as you convert your SD card to FAt32, it'll support bigger ones. I've had a 512 one since launch and even buying a shyt load of digital content, haven't filled it yet.

I haven’t kept up with pricing. They’re expensive now? I have a 3DS XL and a 2DS XL. Probably gonna mod the 3DS because my account is tied to the 2DS but if the prices are wild I may sell one.
