I’m three episodes in this season and the only thing I have to report is Sol Rodriguez is distractingly beautiful, like I don’t know how any of the male cast paid attention whenever she was on set

I am gonna give you the comic fan perspective

If you know the comic Salvation Run this is pointing to 2027 Superman is going to lead to a TV series similar to how Batman led to Penguin but probably starring Luther.

Salvation run is a Luther story, maybe the best Luther story of the last 20 years. You could probably do a Checkmate B story alongside it, but for this to end up right Flagg has to betray Luther and send him to the Salvation planet. Which lowkey seeing how he moves I wouldn’t be surprised if that was always the plan. He’s smarter than he appears. Also don’t be surprised if Amanda Waller comes back and takes over Checkmate, in the comics she takes that over after she loses the suicide squad and operates them like Nick Fury runs Shield.

For some reason people think there will be a checkmate tv show. So maybe shyt gets handled there.

Because the portal/Salvation shyt will be apart of Man of Tomorrow. Checkmate shyt may be a new tv show. Just because there may not be a Peacemaker S3 doesnt mean shyt wont be answered

It could go both ways but I can see it being Luthor the series and you do salvation run as a A story and checkmate is the B story. Neither story is really strong enough for its own series but you do them at the same time and it’s legit. It’s ambitious too which Gunn’s shown he is willing to do.

It Is, it was like a really hot storyline for a quick second. It’s not better known because DC flubbed the ending and then did a linewide DC reboot. Gunn doing it has a lot of potential cause he is the type to improve something. The main issue is it’s gonna be a few more years before this all gets resolved.

Not that there won’t be a season 3, I meant what’s the point in introducing things in Peacemaker only to turn around and say I’m not expecting people to walk into Superman having watched Peacemaker
