I actually thought this was a pretty good episode.

That's not a plot hole lol. Just because something is dumb doesn't mean it's a plot hole. Dumb shyt happens all of the time in real life.

Plus he even brought up the "unreliable gun" thing as a excuse later on.

Oh yeah I know. There was never anything super strategic about Kanaan, essentially just a high level fearless goon with a little bit of smarts and some magic lean.

lol Kanan was very low level, committing the type of crimes that were beneath Ghost and even Tommy.

I hope this show stays true to that as he ages.

I got a question. I saw Marvin put a dead body in the wall in the projects. How would that not stink up the joint so bad, other tenants would be complaining leading to an investigation??

That’s one of the things I always hated about this show. Almost every episode in the OG Power had a sex scene.

It’s not just Power, it seems like every Netflix and cable show feels the need to have these unnecessary ass sex scenes.

Raq is sexy though

The great and good shows never have that tho or at least not for every episode or 40 percent of the show. The writer is shyt for that lol.

He's arguably got the hardest job to do. Maybe tied with Kanan character.

Think about it, his character has to have more range than any other actor on the show ie. tough, funny, undervalued, loyal just to name a few whilst being the eldest in the crime family. Ie. Too much in any end of those characteristics, and it becomes buffoonery or corny. He has to balance it. No other actor on the show has to balance more sides in their acting than he does.

Maybe it's just me, but I fux with dude, I remember him from Ballers and he cool.

I think that's what Marvin was alluding to when he was bytching to Lavar Ball about always being perceived as a fukk up

They nailed that portrayl of the custies in the crack house. nikka seen his man pass out and immediately called him selfish until he had his own "Beam Me Up Scotty" moment. Hopefully this episode scratched that itch for some of the brehs complaining about the lack of junkies being lined up.

These power universe seasons been making me more and more at all the characters hating on Ghost.

He was legit right on everything and had the right goals. If everyone played their role he'd have risen from the streets to black excellence.

Only mistake he made was wifing Tasha. Bish was just in every aspect. If he had patience he could have had supercop angie or the high level politician dime piece.

Pretty sure that's why Ghost had the face the final episode he was alive until his ungrateful ass son did him dirty

Thought about it, and there's not a single character that's unlikable.

The closest is Kanan, but two things save that: first being we know who he became, so he definitely going to be real good to watch soon and secondly, unlike Tariq, the actor playing Kanan is doing a good job and is mad talented.

Coming around to 50s narrations too. Also came around to Symphony, thought he might be a sucker like Tasha's dude that Ghost murked, but nah...dude is pretty cool cat.

Marv and Juke A+ for me as a whole. From the characters to the actors themselves. White girl Nic good lil run too. Great insight into Juke's initial beginnings. She was Jukes outside avenue away from Southside that was evident she didn't want to be in, but away from it, Southside still took Nicole's life.

The acting is light years better in this series.

Nah, little homie who played Tariq did an EXCELLENT job, to the point people started to hate the actor in real life.

Nah fam. I think you're confusing people despising his Tariq's despicable actions with Michael Rainey being a good actor. I still laugh at how bad his acting was during that scene where Sax filmed him at Ghost's grave site.

And Marvin ain't a particularly smart nikka either... which further proves Kanan's lack of intellect because he's workin closely with the most irresponsible relative of all Marvin is basically Kanan 1.0= knows all about how to fight and kill people, but is always fukkin' up otherwise.

And I can see that once Marvin finds out about Juke, that's gonna be the breaking point between them. He doesn't seem to care much when it comes to the things that make her happy (didnt help her get into the good school, aint big on her singing) so he ain't gonna respect who she is.

Yeah Kanan mentioned in the OG series that Jukebox pops kicked her out when he found out she wasThis episode was piff though. Ironic how the same dynamic brehs were complaining about regarding the Juke-White girl relationship wound up being some of the best storytelling so far. I'm legit more interested in her character's development than I am Kanan's at this point. Seems like Unique's crew finally grips up and lights Raq's crib up. Hard to believe she still been exposing herself like that given her line of work. nikka Symphony went from Shemar Moore to Simpfony Gotta love the Coli
