Russia is banned, but her athletes can still compete. What's the point? Just ban the people caught doping.

Because the entire country's mechanism was cheating. They had an entire national program, secret agents breaking into testing rooms to switch samples and shyt. They 100% deserved the shame of getting the whole country banned.

You don't realize - when the Olympics happens the # of non-athletes who get to go to the Games and live up their dreams is bigger than the number of athletes. There are a lot of powerful people who ain't getting their Korean vacation because of that ban. They don't deserve to go.

And the Russian athletes who do go had to prove they'd been regularly tested and clean, as opposed to getting the benefit of the doubt. It was a good solution.

The US with only 12 medals. Even Canada has 7 more on them:scust::scust:

USA hockey :scust:

There will be a summit :heh:

Those old wickenheiser, Ouellette , sunohara days are over

yeah. Respect to what you did for us, leading us to as many gold medals as you did... but you gotta :camby: and make room for the new blood. There was literally a moment in our DZone where one player shot it along the boards and our D was too :flabbynsick: to pick it up and lead it out of the D. Like she didn't even try to struggle skate. Just stood there watching the puck get to an American stick like it was soccer or some shyt. That's when I knew it was most likely over... the last 5 minutes of OT was supposed to be 4v4 but it felt like a PK, Canada didn't play that OT - they survived it.

Hopefully this crow makes us rebuild and go harder for 2022

we might have to still. USA had us looking larry holmes status in the 3rd Period/Overtime. straight flabby n sick

Nah you just can't sit back on a lead which is what they tried to do in the 3rd...when they were pressing and creating in the 2nd they were the better team....you can't just sit back and let a team come at you if ur not playing a trap....

Let's be reality they lost because of a bad line change...if they didn't have that they win the game it never goes to OT.
....again the lesson that never gets learned is you can't sit back on a lead...best defense is offense...

I watched the end of this women's hockey and it was pretty interesting. I also thought to myself that hockey is one sport where women would dominate regular joes. For example I can't even skate :manny:

Almost the same thing with basketball. WNBA players might have trouble in the post but on the perimeter they'd probably wash the average male.

Nah, I don't think they were sitting back... the Canadians know better than anyone else how lethal USA could be. US pressure was just too much; at the end of the third we were being out skated and out hustled. And OT was barely survived, they were skating circles around us.

They were sitting back, the difference between the 2nd period and 3rd period was night and day. They went into the 2nd knowing they needed to create and push and they had about half a dozen 2 on 1s and 3 on 1 rushes, then when they got the lead they stopped pressuring them and were content to dump and chase or dump and change....All they did 3rd period was dump and change, they werent trying to press there defense or get any shots on goal..

US dominated possession and zone time but had no real scoring chances in the 3rd other than the one they got off a Canadian line change....that was really the difference in the game, self inflicted wound....
