What Trump did accomplish last night is rile up his base which is probably a good thing for Hill. They don't want Trump out of the race. A divided GOP is a great thing. Why would they want Trump out and have people start looking into other alternatives.

People kill me with these narratives. "He stopped the bleeding."

He fukking lost! He was already in freefall and he didn't win over a single voter last night.

But just because he didn't get utterly annihilated again somehow he "stopped the bleeding."

People want to look for an angle to a story. He lost convincingly the 1st time, so it's no fun to simply say Trump lost again (especially since there were no fireworks). They have to introduce some grading curve.

It's like Sarah Palin debate in 08. She was able to form coherent sentences so people praised her for a good performance.
