Ehh...you forget Louie and Jerome were considering leaving the game last season after she got shot. Frank talked them back into it. If they were dealing with Reed then (without Frank) and told Reed that, he would have killed them then and there. They not built like that to be dealing with Reed directly.
who wouldn't leave the game after they got shot? franklin also made literally bad move after bad move, which is why they wanted to run their own shop if they came back in the game. and rome been wanting out since season 3, he just wanted to sell speakers.

louie was running things smoothly when frank was out after having been shot. lastly, yall keep missing the point that they aren't safe with Reed in any situation - not with franklin as the middle man and not on their own, so at least on their own they have the shot at lowering prices and moving the product faster
I don't get why Skully is being even more cartoonish now after going soft at the end of last season
lost his girl and his daughter, he returned to suicide skully when he went to try to the hospital to kill louie

Who’s writing this shyt?

Bullshyt ass depiction of LA in the 80s

Thought it was just me. Storyline is fine for me, but dialogue seems off to me at times. For instance, when Skully is complaining about Jerome and Louie going back on their word about lowering the price, he says they sold him “wolf tickets”…I thought selling wolf tickets is when you talk all tough when you know you ain’t gonna do shyt. Can an older head chime in. :patrice:

Louie and Jerome gonna build an alliance with Skulli. Franklin needs the money from Skullis hood.

Franklin is going to kill Reed by the end of the season. He just needs to get a step ahead of him

My boy told me this show is jumping the shark?
I think jumping the shark would be harsh to say , I had to come to a realization though that all shows, even the prestige ones, eventually dip down a bit in quality. The 5th seasons of the wire and the sopranos weren’t as good as the early seasons. All that to say, I think the show is still high quality but not at its season 2 and 3 level.

It's gonna come down to Franklin using Teddy or Jerome to clip Louie by the end of the season.

They've got to make him cross that line and clipping someone in the "family" would do that. Kevin was an accident and you barely saw white boy Rick so they don't count.

Louie is basically Manboy 2.0 and she is gonna feed Leon to that cop who will then go after Franklin.
