i dont think they "fixed" anything. im under the impression that they intentionally made a few scenes with those bad character designs so that it would get the fans and the audience talking.

theres no way in hell they made Sonics design that terrible in the first place!

Crazy how when the first Sonic live-action movie was announced everybody (including me) expected it to be the worst movie ever.

Now the sequel is announced and dudes hyped for it

I hope they up the CGI budget in the sequel.

Most of the scenes in the first one had Sonic standing alone in the center of the screen. Not sure if it’s because of the facial reworks messed up some of the works they had previously done.
