I feel ya. Its like the norm now to have shows seasons 2 to 3 years apart. I had to strait up give up on wheel of time and rings of power for the simple fact i had no idea wtf was even going on

The writers strike is long over, so is covid, so whats the excuse?

Game of throne came out yearly on schedule, and the were just a big budget or bigger than most of these shows ....so whats their excuse?

Almost all big budget shows take forever to produce now. It's not just Covid.

Increased expectations for more cinematic shows. Increased budgets. Increased use of CGI. Scheduling conflicts among actors. Bottlenecks in production since every streaming platform has such a high demand for more and more content these days. Reshoots are incredibly common now as well. Those last two is a huge one. Content is king, and everyone needs so much of it, that production times are much slower now. There also aren't as many shows with easy to use sets that can be used over and over like on sitcoms.

Also, many shows don't even get approved for another season anymore until the most recent season is over with. They check the numbers, then maybe renew it. So, the entire creation process takes much longer. They can't even start writing the next season until the previous season is finished and the studio decides to renew it. Shows used to be greenlit ahead of time for many more seasons.

There are also more labor strikes and things like that. There was a really big writer's strike in 2023.

Looks like all the theater tickets are pretty much sold out on NYE (in nyc at least)

But nobody really getting them for New Year’s Day lol

They may have miscalculated that move

Nobody who is a fan enough to see it in theaters is gonna wait until the next day to watch it (unless they got other plans , obligations etc) …timelines gonna be flooded, your friend group gonna be hitting up the group chats etc…and you waiting til 1/1 at 1pm to see it at the movies

OR PPL COULD SIMPLY

Will is the worst actor in the entire cast he's not getting shyt after this. Finn actually gets roles and him being sidelined prolly made him feel like "fukk it". That other nikka really tried to argue that El and Mike weren't the fukking main characters of the series is wildin the fukk out. Lol. Bet he felt stupid when shyt came down to El at the end. Because he tried to justify El being sidelined for most of the season and them taking importance away from her.

Coli comprehension strikes again I've already been over this

Mike ain't done shyt for 4 seasons, and it was only after the Will gay painting scene that they started reminding themselves to write Mike doing some leader shyt this season. And even then he was still insignificant

Dustin is the real leader, and his graduation speech cemented it

Mike is only the leader whenever the writers suddenly remember "Oh shyt Mike is the leader"
