That everyone is infected shyt wasn't in the comics. You had people making guesses about what was turning people into zombies but it was never stated as a fact simply because of situations like the shyt with Dale's leg.

Also if it was just about infections then lots of people would have turned already from various cuts. In that world nothing is clean. You got dead corpses lying everywhere, people burning corpses, little to no soap, disinfectant.

Kirkman even said himself that he kept shyt vague in the comics because you run into trouble once you start trying to explain things too much.

the "everybody is infected" plot is in the comics as well. just wasn't the cdc guy who told them that. in the books, tyrese daughter gets killed by her boyfriend, then turns into a zombie. that's when he decides to drive to shanes grave to confirm it. that's when he realizes everyone is infected, and he tells the group as such.

and im just explaining how it goes down. im not going into how sterile the environment is. just that the bite is what's lethal and kills you.

Rick was about that life, he just didnt want to be about it. If Shane truly wanted Rick's girl, his son and his title, he would've took his life when they were looking for Sophia and when they were at the junk yard

I don't know anything about the comics nor the game. But that one two punch might be one the illest season openers ever shyt was my nikka rick bossed up in less than a minute. Went from in a two minute span

edit: keep in mind shane was under the illusion this whole thing would die down in a couple of weeks. he also wanted to head towards fort benning, which is overran by zombies.shane also would have died @ the school if otis didn't save him twice.

here's a good example of why shane would be a bad leader. when they went to drop off the injured kid in that warehouse area. zombies started pouring out of the window after shane broke it. rick covered himself with a dead zombie. shane, for some odd reason, locked himself into a bus. this is who you want as a leader?

i forgot Otis' fatass kept saving Shane. In fact, Otis was out running Shane until Shane shot his knee out. Otis would've made a great addition to the team

can't believe people really comparing rick to shane. like somebody else said, shane was a simp. he was constantly puttin everybody in danger because he was pu$$ywhipped by some ugly ass skeletor lookin b*tch. there were times where you'd be like ok...it looks like he might be finally comin around. then nope...he would flip right back to that crazed muthafukker just because he seen lori give rick a kiss on the cheek and shyt. man up ho. she don't want you no more. you were just a shoulder to cry on. somebody she threw the pu$$ at so she wouldn't feel alone. a rebound muthafukker. you got played. accept it and move the fukk on.


instead he keeps trying and trying until he reaches the point where he stages a fake escape to lure rick away and shoot him in the back. but rick is smart. he tapped into shanes soft side...cause deep down shane was just a little boy with a broken heart. and rick knew that...got him to let his guard down for one second and put the shank in him then let his little man finish the job. if shane could just forget that dirty ass pu$$(literally though. imagine how bad that shyt had to smell. you fukk b*tches who shower every day and catch whiffs from the back that make you go ...so imagine an old white b*tch who hadn't showered in months...got damn shane) him and rick would be an unstoppable fukkin team right now. shane wasn't built to be the number 1. and rick deadin him proved that.

when the writers got called out on the zombie bodies in cars on the freeway, they said those in cars were already dead from car accidents and such.

This show basically displays different types of leaders where each one have a specific weakness that will ultimately be the death of them. Whether its age, p*ssy, being a minority , or etc.

The only reason Shane held back from killing Rick was because he didnt want things to look bad iin Lori's eyes. He would of had to make it look like an accident.

but like i said, the writers claim many of those in the car were killed in car accidents that caused head trauma. i think it was a cop out, but this is the excuse they used for the dead bodies on the highway

He never held back. Rick caught on. Shane was suppose to shoot Rick in the back without Rick knowing. Rick smelled his bullshiit and dealt with the simp accordingly.

The bottom line about Shane and the reason why he is a much worse leader than Rick is that Shane didn't give a damn about anybody in the group except for himself, Lori and Carl. He would have slit the throats of every person riding with them if it meant that he, Lori and Carl would be safe.
Rick on the other hand (at least in the TV show) accepts his role as leader and looks at it as his being responsible for everyone not just his own family.
If Herschel got bit while Shane was in charge, he wouldn't have tried to save him by chopping off his leg like Rick did, he would have been like "Oh well" and shot Herschel in the face.
Hell, I bet if Shane were in charge during the lean winter months where they were all moving around constantly and had no food that Shane would have taken all the weapons and what was left of the food and run off with Lori and Carl in the middle of the night; leaving the rest of the group defenseless.

I used virus for a lack of a better word and because it is initiated when the person is dead even though they already infected. But I guess the ones that didnt die of a head trauma manage to get out of the vehicle and became a Walker
