to anyone who is thinking about reading the comic yet haven't already started WAIT UNTIL THE SERIES IS OVER BEFORE U DO SO......most shows like this only last about 5 or 6 seasons. (7 if we're lucky) We're on the 3rd already so be patient.
The two posters above me are a living testament as to why it wouldn't be a good idea. Sh1t will only ruin the show for you and make you complain constantly like a
Outside of the show itself, the only Walking Dead related sh1t I fukked with was the videogame, I'm glad I made that choice because I'm currently loving the show right now (Due to the fact that I'm basically going into it blind without any knowledge of anything beforehand)
Watch the series and play the video game, (there's actually another video game developed by Activision/COD crew based on the series dropping in 2013, A FPS prequel focused on Merle and Daryl at the start of the outbreak). If you must eat some more then there's a few dozen mini webisodes out there also. So again, for those of you who are thinking about checking out the comic.... I'd advise you not to pick up the comic until the series is wrapped up for good.

Or you can look at the comic book and the TV show as two separate entities that have nothing to do with one another.
People really need to stop being so closeminded with adaptations of written works because none of them will ever be translated to TV or movies 100% faithful to the source material. So if you can wrap your head around the idea that what goes on in the comic is not guaranteed to be anything more than a suggested roadmap for the TV show you will spare yourself a whole lot of unnecessary aggravation.
As to the episode...I liked it a lot. I am glad they have allowed Michonne to flex these past few episodes. She is probably the gulliest character on the show. Also glad to see her hooking up with the prison crew without Andrea who I still cannot stand. Andrea might be a worse character than Carol.
And I found it perfectly acceptable that Merle got the drop on Maggie and Glenn. Of Rick's crew, those two are the most likely (aside from Carol or dead Lori) to be easiest to get got because neither of them is a natural fighter or have that killer instinct to them.
I hope Oscar gets some enjoyment out of them slippers before he becomes walker food because I don't see brotha man lasting too long.
This episode also showed me that, for the most part, The Governor's crew are not really all that badass. Aside from Merle all of his people seem very lackluster. Michonne wiped out a whole crew alone, that chick with the bow was horrible. I think in a straight up brawl (even memebrs on both sides) Rick's crew would own The Governor's soldiers.
And count me among the people who hope that this is the last of the phone shyt with Rick. Dragging this out over an extended period of time would have been torturous to watch.
i must not pay attention well, i know they took her sword, and she saw a military truck riddled with bullets... and i realize the town seems a tad bit fishy, but i still don't really get why the fukk michonne is so god damn salty at the governor? b/c they killed already dead dudes in a helicopter? b/c of Merle? I really hope this bytch drops the Omar face with the new group, b/c ive seen her moves, she's old already.

obviously all her suspicious will pay off in the end, but i just dont like how quick that bytch was like "nah, this is wrong, im out." have a few meals, sleep in a bed for a week, and shut your fukkin mouth.
