cant speak for him but the comic makes the show look like a disney cartoon

It's not hard for me to separate the show from the comic while watching it. I actually might have stopped watching it by now if not for the comic and game. When the show is good I don't even think about the comic...but when it's bad....

@ThatKidBlackHippy my confusion is if Merle really wants to see Daryl why kidnap and torture his friends ?? I can't see him being happy with that not to mention its slower than waiting for them to bring him back or even just following than Glenn. Or forcing them to drive to Daryl

HOPEFULLY,..t-dawg II takes the beheading and tyrese is allowed to draw further as a character, in the tv series than the comic continuity.
I could also deal with Hershel and glen killing the good ol governor.
To exact revenge on if Maggie meets a diabolical fate.

I'm kinda hoping they rape maggie in fron of glenn. I can't stand that soft ass fa66ot. how the fukk you let you and your b*tch get captured by a dude with one hand, and you got the drop on him. A fukkin disgrace to men everywhere.

You gotta be honest though.
Merle is a beast.
He was built for this shyt.
Glenn is just surviving, as well as Maggie.
Plus the actual writing has been top notch to explain.
Exactly why Darryl was preoccupied.
Plus why Glenn was on this recon, at this exact time.
I will admit this series has rebounded.
From the fukkery of darabont being ousted and compromising the quality of those episodes during that time.

This season's shows have been a wonder for horror as a genre quality wise.
i have to stop myself from questioning whether the shyt is real I am watching.
As outside of 28 days later and a few other things here and there.
I really can not remember any horror that consistently was this well written before.
shyt is like watching a dreamscape this season.

She had no clue initially whether Maggie and Glenn were part of the governor's crew and she has an inherently suspicious personality.
Plus she was not in the best of shape and would have been pretty useless once things went dowqn any way because Merle had already gotten the drop on Glenn and was holding Maggie at gunpoint.

i agree with @Conz and @JMurder .

they botched Michonne's introduction. she was happy as hell to finally have a place to rest in the comics. now she just dont trust anybody. but she's gonna trust Rick and them cuz they got a baby. and anybody with a baby is a good person.​

As of the episode where Lori died I've had the same sentiment. This show was racing towards True Blood level last season as far as being something that was a guilty pleasure but everyone realized it was trash for the most part. The writing has picked up to the point that a lot of complaints I see in this thread just come off as people still in their "This show sucks and has horrible writing" mindset and reaching for complaints. The characters are actually evolving and being fleshed out.

I agree to an extent. The writing was horrible last season, so a vast improvement took them to about average. I would never put it on par with even the other dramas on AMC. But I think a lot of people are refusing to let go of how bad the writing was last season and how much fun it was to point out how bad the writing was last season so they pick the silliest things to criticize. Like who really gives a fukk about zombies being able to eat bones or not?
