I like this episode also, but the rape is what made the Gov so evil, he took the beef in the comic to a level where there was noway either side could ever let it slide, and off course the Gov is shook of Ricks crew, Andrea pointed it while she was on the wall, they couldn't even hit a single target in broad daylight, imagine how it going to be in a sneak attack at night? Andrea is bad because she is played by a terrible actress, that doofy look in eyes and that walk she is makes Andrea look worse than it seems, Debra from Dexter would be perfect as Andrea, much better actress and more believable.

I get that the show is trying to present a more nuanced villain with the Governor than the character was presented in the comic so I am fine with him not actually raping Maggie.
We are being given a Governor that is at his heart a small, petty sociopath with delusions of grandeur instead of the outright psycho from the comic.

And I don't think Laurie Holden is a bad actress (I have seen her do good work in other stuff) but this character is horrible and her acting choices don't help make Andrea any more likable.

otherwise I agree. And while I agree that I'm glad that Maggie ain't get raped, I still don't see why we as the viewer should be rooting against the Governor aside from the fact that he's about to go up against Rick

I would think killing innocent National Guard soldiers, sending his crew to kill Michonne, and his serial killer like tendency to chop off heads and keep them in jars in his study would be enough to make you root against the Governor even before last night's episode.

I was shytting on this show pretty hard throughout the second season, but I'm really enjoying this shyt now.

to these motherfukkers for pullin me back in.

Also, I aint read the comics so I can't say I was mad that ol girl didnt get raped. As someone totally new to this story I can say that the Governor as a bad guy is evident. I dont see him as some evil monster type dude that I would have if he did the raping, but as a more realistic bad guy. Started off with good intentions, power turned him.

If positions were reversed you could say the same thing for Rick. But we on #teamrick so its gotta be fukk the Governor

So everybody really thinks this was a great episode? I thought it was pretty weak and obvious filler.

-Who was that random cac in the barn? How in the world had he survived so long and not known about the zombies?
-Michonne talmbout she don't need help after walkign to the prison, getting saved and needing obvious medical attention had me like
-Michonne finally said "Thank you!"
-Maggie's room was right next to Glen's right? Why did he stop yelling? Why didn't she scream? Why weren't they communicating thru the wall. i hope she at least tells Glen she wasn't raped now that they're in the same room. Gonna have that Asian insecure as fukk.

My predictions:

-The first third of next episode will be Rick's group planning their attack between shots of the governor planning a defense
-The second third will be the actual attack with a bunch of randoms dying and distrust of Michonne
-The last third will have Darryl and Merle draw on each other. Episode will end with Andrea killing Oscar and running into the rest of the group. Andrea will have a look of shock. Michonne will run off to find the governor dolo and the ep will end with her and governor having a staredown. Him being shocked she's alive and Michonne having a look of revenge in her eyes.

The comic Gov was real as hell, the events of the zombie outbreak allowed him to drop his mask, he was a madman, he was perfect for the group, the comic Gov knew deep down they were going to die and he had his foot on the pedal flooring it to the end, that was what made him real and scary.
