This is what happens when you throw kids into an ecosystem that only affirms that their lonliness and alienation isn't because they're bad people but because the bad "others" have caused this and all their problems. If they could just remove the others, they'd be a normal, accepted, lauded individual. People will praise these ideas in this ecosystem, they become more and more isolated and reactionary and begin thinking that it's the "only way".
After all these shootings when it's a white kid it's "mental health" which is true, we do need better services, but we also need to address the societal underpinnings that cause this are directly effected by the racial hierarchy we have in this country that we implicitly teach kids.
How many more people need to die before we deal with these problems? Before we address what's causing the shootings, easy access to assault weaponry, online echo chambers, a desire for infamy bolstered by a reactionary media environment?
