Ive wavered back and forth over the years on my interpretation of various parts of the constitution but clearly it is failing the country at the moment and needs to be changed

The question is do we trust these people to change it for the better

The US is never going to adopt European style laws on guns.

Both sides use the gun debate to try and shift focus away from their own failures. Right wing talk about guns so we’re not talking about their white nationalist/racist resurgence. Liberals focus on gun bans as solution to inner city violence rather than talking about a comprehensive/coherent policy to address poverty.

I get what he's saying. But even with all of that, I don't think we're at the point of declaring failure. But that time will come soon enough.
