Kansas' problems is the lack of a true alpha. Perry Ellis is talented, but soft as charmin. Selden was talented, but has regressed since highschool. Oubre is the most talented, but the most passive. Mason actually has some alpha to his mentality, but w/o the requisite alpha talent/skillset.

That's true but Self is also a system coach who won't allow a player to stand out and be a go to guy
