So many things happened that didn't add anything and took away from the story:
Danvers falling into the water, she would've died. And that scene added nothing.
The guy waking up from being frozen in the snow.
Covering up a justifiable shooting because they wanted to go spelunking.
It's like a college student asked Chat GPT to combine GOT's Night King, Dylatov Pass, Girl Power, and S1 of True Detective. Then they replaced every mention of "winter is coming" with "she's awake".
