How long would it take u to re-do the features? Would the site be shut down temporarily? Might have to toss in something extra for your time too but I'm down if it means an improvement for the site.

here i posted this to somebody via pm just now:

but we should see how many want to chip in tho. we should easily be able to just drop 5 if we promote it via a sticky announcement thread in every forum

if we make it so that people can get some form of recognition for it they'll be more likely to drop cash for it

this extends beyond a forum upgrade too. like if there are other types of features or causes, drives can be set up continuously creating a constant sense of involvement and/or dedication to the coli

like nike talk did a reilef fund for japan after the tsunami that ended up doing numbers and they sell nike talk shirts and hats

this could get the ball rolling.
