For all our criticism of the US, lets not forget Iran is some dumb dumbs. They could have avoid this too. And not just no nukes but at least pretended to listen to the protestors. And of course Moscow stabbed them in the back.

So the US attacked Iran even though they had negotiated a better deal than the one Obama had negotiated was because Israel decided they didn't care we had a deal on the table.

Israel decided they were going to attack and the US just followed like a lapdog.

That also explains why the Iranian leader’s America thought could negotiate a ceasefire was killed. Israel doesn't want to negotiate a ceasefire, they want the US to destroy Iran for them.

It is a really crazy world we live in where the most powerful countries in the world (the US, and now all of the European countries who have also jumped in) get jerked around by some tiny ethnostate with less than 10 million people.

Is there any demand that Israel could make that the western powers would say no to? I don't think so.

The US, UK, Germany, France, etc. all have plenty of problems at home that they are struggling to deal with, but they have an endless supply of resources for Israel.

Think of all the people in this country struggling to make ends meet, think of all our crumbling infrastructure, our dilapidated towns, our shytty airports, the lack of quality healthcare, the cost of higher education. Instead of addressing any of these issues, we need our tax dollars to be spent defending some tiny genocidal ethnostate that can't satisfy its bloodlust.

Money is not the issue in this particular scenario, it's how slow the resupplying process is. Specially when the US can't just sell all their shyt and fukk up their own stockpile.

It would be so dumb though. The amount of troops needed to take on a mountainous country (with 90 million people) in a short amount of time is basically impossible to do, eventually they'll get stuck over there with little to no supply lines.
