Despite any public rebukes from nations and their leaders, it's becoming more apparent that a lot of those same people wanted this to happen behind closed doors. That's why this administration with the help of Israel, jumped out the window.

There are several reasons why no one else in the world or past administrations wanted to be the face of this. I guess we're going to find out what those are.

I was saying this in response to @jj23 , but it seems everyone understands how anti American ideology can't grip a generation because on "military adventurism" but seemingly fail to grip that Iran has taken actions themselves that have a created a generation of Americans and host of other countries to seek their demise.

Most of us are too young to have those feelings towards Iran, but it's clear there is a large contingent who does.

Beyond that, it seems folks have been conditioned to believe that Iran is an insurmountable foe and that other regional partners would take a different stance. Both of these seem to be getting tested.

It's uncomfortable.

Yes, Iran has done some nasty shyt to make folks hate them. You are right. There are a list of countries like that.

Cuba, Venezuela etc...

Frankly I dont think American adventurism has benefitted any of the affected countries, and this has been with good intelligent Presidents. Trump and his saber rattling and bragging makes it infinitely worse, and creates a culture of resentment and hatred that ultimately will affect the average American.

The things that upsets me is that Trump and his syncopants, will ride off into the sunset and innocent Americans end up suffering.
