Voters first and foremost are self interested above all else.
So when someone like Trump comes along willing to lie about easy fixes to complex it becomes attractive. Particularly when you can tap into racism.
So yes, pushing a candidate out after the primaries directly echoes comaints from 2016 where voters felt like Hillary was given the nom.
That also encourages chaos, apathy, and and no longer a good message.
But I am more insulated from the deleterious choices of these people than others, why wouldn’t I encourage that

Seeing how things are going with Iran, I wonder if they decide to blockade Taiwan. If 100 a barrel is scary, just wait till they stop the semiconductores from coming and China stops exporting all rare earths. Use the Iranian playbook and nuke the global economy

Thank God we’ve have been reassured by the best and brightest in higher learning things will be infinitely better in the upcoming Chinese hegemony whose foundation will be friendly economic competition and certainly not exploitation
