we don't have cap room... all we have is the MLE and the bi annual exception..

so pretty much signing Webster and a backup PG

This draft sucks but look at this way... Most of these dudes will be better than Vesley :steviej:
Exactly, I more interested in what bum PG we are gonna sign (unless it's D Harris) to keep Webster than these Rookies.

Better than Ves sounds good though :ehh:

We have two 2nd round picks. If we had a competent GM, he would find a player in the 2nd round worth drafting. I'm sure there are prospects in this draft better than any of EG's picks from 2010-2012 outside of Wall/Beal.

And it looks like Ernie is going to throw away the 2nd rounders AGAIN. This team has no quality depth. They show that every year - year after year. That's mainly because they've used the draft so poorly - and they still have the same guy running the draft, making the trades, signing players, running the organization into the the SAME position EVERY YEAR. Back in the lottery and repeating the same thing.

"I don’t think we want to have three rookies on the roster next year. We’ll see what we do with those second-round picks and how they could become an asset. Maybe package them to move up a little bit,” Grunfeld said. “Most years there is some movement. I’m sure there will be a lot of discussion, a lot of speculation, a lot of rumors flying, but we feel comfortable wherever we end up that we’ll be able to find somebody to help us and do some things for us.”

I can think of better players than Vesely and Singleton at the 57 spot, and much better with the earlier round two pick. There are at least 20 players better than Booker to choose first. Several bigs seem better prospects to me than Seraphin.

we cant forget how shytty our player development is tho.

when vesely was in europe, he shot a better % from three than kawhi leonard did in college. now kawhi shoots better from three than ves does from the FT line.

basically no matter who we get, if they aint already skilled enough like wall or beal they gonna be trash. that's just how it works brehs :to:
