Bennett is a pretty dynamic player. He has a explosive 1st step and a great jumpshot. He's a mix match on the offensive end. You remember last year when Wall would pick and pop with Okafor? :flabbynsick::huhldup: Even with Nene was :scusthov: cause he refused to shoot. Bennett appears to be the type of player that not only can you pick and pop but his ball handling is great. Not just great as a PF/SF but great overall. He will drive on bigger players, stop and pull up for the J or take it on them. A lot of wizards fans want Porter cause of that Gtown connection. They wont admit its tied into their bias but I see past that.

The Wizards have a chance of having a very dynamic team. Porter role on this team wouldn't be that great, seeing that Wall has the ball in his hands most of the time and Beal is gonna have more plays run for him. Porter would not spread the floor like Bennett will. I have a hard time imagining Porter blowing past forwards in the NBA. He plays smart but he's not that athletic and has a low ceiling.

In the NBA,you need a competent Big and small. Can't depend on Nene(30..Shoulder, foot) and Okafor(31yrs old, knees?) for much longer. Bennett has his faults, his defense and effort can be really poor at times but I do not expect him to start out the gate. Who else best to teach him how to play better defense than the 5th ranked best defensive team last year? I know Wittman won't put up with his bs and poor effort. Wittman called out Wall in his 1st year 1st day he got promoted to Head coach. He can learn a lot from Nene and Okafor. I don't expect him to to improve from a D to a B+ but if he can become a C+ in his 3rd yr or so, while keeping his offensive potential, then he's more than worth it. When ever he clicks you can bet you'll see Wall's assist go up 1-2.5.

One thing to note, While only being 6'7 or so, he's pretty light on his feet. He'll most likely learn to take charges on the next level to make up for his deficiencies.

:ehh: Ok, I could see that workin' out. Feel a lot better for tomorrow. Thanks 4 the insight my dude

Bennett is waaaaay too risky of a pick to take in the top 3. Plus he's a tweener..who will be forced to play PF..In which he will be undersized. Coincidentally that also describes Trevor Booker who is already on the team. Bennett is not needed. He has a HIGH possibility to be a flop. Plus he's gained 20lbs since the NCAA season ended. All signs point to not drafted him.

Porter is not the sexy pick but he is the correct pick for the Wizards. I believe Olidipo and Burke will be the best players out of this draft..but we already have good guards. Porter is the correct pick. If Porter is somehow not available, I hope we take Len.

only ernie could fukk this up... we have a chance to ensure we're a top defensive team in the future with porter and instead we're gonna draft someone who's undersized, plays no defense, and from all accounts is literally already :flabbynsick: .... only ernie, brehs. he's one of a kind

It seems like all of the mock drafts have us taking Porter but all of the rumors say we are taking Bennett. I don't know who to believe.

Bennett's first step looks great in college but I doubt it translates against the front courts of the league.

He's a tweener and you don't draft guys like that at the top.

I'd rather have Len if they take a big. At least he has post skills, rebounding, and shot blocking and he has shown improvement. My issue with him is he should have done more and demanded the ball from the stupid guards he played with.

Porter is the young wing we have been missing.

I'd also be happy with Noel if he gets to 3.

Bowie ain't 40 minutes from the Verizon Center :wtf: it's like 20-25 minutes and bam straight shot on 50 outta DC
If you driving at 3am maybe, otherwise ain't no way you making it from Bowie to Verizon center in 20 :bryan: Not even at 3am imo
It'll take you almost that long to get to Florida/rt.50 over by the Wendys if you lucky (with traffic that iz)
:blessed: I remember some of you guys were hard on Beal when he was drafted and even a month or 2 into the season. Bennett fits better with Wall & Beal than Porter.
Yeah, I don't see Porter as a good fit. We have players that are better than Porter. Singleton/Ariza/Webster >>> Porter
he a fatter SuperCoolBeas :mindblown:
So then he might be like a Antwan Walker in his prime :leon:
What're u seein' that the rest of us aren't? :ohhh:

I take Florida and get to West Virginia then Bladensburg Road

Max 30-35 minutes with limited traffic

with traffic, easily 40-45

And Bennett is a tweener, you don't take guys like him at the top of the draft

State your reasons bruh, If you have a better analyst then be my guest:stopitslime:. If the Wizards draft Bennett tomorrow. I'm gonna save my quotes sorta like last year when everybody on this site, save for 1-3 other poster threw :wall: in the bushes.

hes a tweener its been proven time and time again they dont pan out in the league.

too slow to gaurd 3's too small for to gaurd 4's.

Bennett plays no D whatsoever anyway. :heh:

Porter plays better D better passer better shooter. One of the most complete players in the draft.

Picking Bennett over Otto is a fireable offense for a GM that probably shouldve been fired already :skip:

How can anyone argue with Porter being picked @ 3? Washington hasn't had a legit 3, let alone frontcourt since Howard, webber, and big George. Porter can shoot, pass, create, and defend. And he's 6'10/6'11...that's a steal.

Butler, and Jamison wer decent for a few years, but this is Ernie's chance add a dynamic young player to grow with Wall and Beal.

Please don't screw this up Ernie.. Please.
