Half of those Wire characters were in The Corner playing different character before the wire.
This director and HBO in general just like fukking with people they know.

I remember that, but I wasn't into the corner like that. The Wire was my life on those sunday nights. I know Corner, Wire and Homicide have many of the same actors, but this feels different to me cuz of how much I was into the wire and its characters.

Homicide Life on the street. That shyt use to come on nbc in like the 90s when I was a kid. The newspaper editor from the last season was a detective in there. Orlando the pimp was in there. And a few other background characters.

man, I don't know if this was posted, but marlo's character on here, the homocide detective was killed in the line of duty right after all this went down in 2017. HBO has a documentary on this called "the slow hustle".
