No it depends on which card you have.

Mine is a normal credit card. But I pay it off each month as if it's a credit card.

Whats that uber visa about?

Use to give really good CB on dining out and entertainment but they neutered the card a year ago and it only pay out in Uber bucks instead of cash back so I barely use it now

From my experience getting a card that offers discounts and perks is the best way to go. When it comes to some cards like Belk/Macy's etc. they are just good enough in my opinion to open in order to get the initial discount they offer. After that i personally wouldn't touch them. And remember that it is better to have multiple credit cards open other than closing them even if you don't have a balance on them.

chase freedom and freedom unlimited, all points get sent to sapphire reserve where i can cash them out on travel for around 6.5% cashback. got amex platinum too, that's worth it for centurion lounges alone. the membership fees get offset by travel credits, it's $500 a year between csr/amex platinum.

try to bank those points u earn with it, and don't forget to sign up for the 5x points categories every quarter. a point's only worth 1 cent if u redeem it now, but if u cop a sapphire preferred/reserve down the road u can use it for travel at a value of 1.25/1.5 cents or send to your account at a travel partner for even more.
