Creating from the perimeter should be in her bag but it shouldn't be the primary way she scores buckets...esp since she's shooting 50% after the slow start

Get her the ball on mismatches, get her the ball on PnR, get her the ball when she seals a defender, throw the ball over the top when a defender fronts her, dish the ball to her on drives

She could realistically be a 20 pt scorer next season...but she won't be if she has to always create from the perimeter herself

Sorry breh, but the Libs don't have it this year (even at full strength).

Almost every team in the W this year has had to deal with injuries. Most of them have still played better than the Liberty have been playing, all things considered.

I will say this tho, Liberty aren’t the same without Betnijah Laney she was a really strong two way player on the perimeter . Kayla Thornton too.

We miss the two of them badly. The Liberty should've protected Thornton instead of N. Sabally

Was Sabally protected or the Valkyries just didn't pick her. The WNBA never reveal the protected list.

It's pretty much certain that they protected these 5 players: Ionescu, Stewart, Jones, Laney-Hamilton, and Fiebich. The 6th spot is up for debate, but seeing as Thornton was selected by the Valkyries, it seems likely that Sabally was protected.

She likely had some goodwill with Liberty management at the time based on the fact that she made some key plays in Game 5 of last year's Finals and had her name chanted at Barclays after the game.
