You're living in a best case scenario
I don't see Chicargo bushing Sloot or her being the backup PG as long as she's playing there
She will be back and she will start...Ariel will likely be back as well
RayBan cannot defend and gets torched by both starters and backups...
A team that trots out RayBan and HVL on the bench is not a serious team
A team that has Sloot as a centerpiece in 2025 and 2026 is not a serious team
This team does not want to feature Angel even though she's the only player that can compete talent-wise with Phee, Riyadh Stewie & AT
The racial stuff you brought up from last season is 100% valid...it carried over into the offseason decisionmaking (Sloot, HVL and Maddy)...but now these decisions impacted the actual product on the court and Angel is adamant that Sloot shouldn't be the team leader, HVL is not capable of being a lead guard on a playoff team, and Maddy shouldn't be the backup big...NOT ONE LIE WAS TOLD LOL
Now Allie Quigley is throwing subs at Angel implying everyone check Sloot's resume...well it's not 2021, it's 2025 and Sloot is a damn dinosaur
If Chicargo is not committed to making Angel the centerpiece of the team and improving the roster, it's time for her to step...do you not agree?

The Chicago Tribune had a field day with Angel Reese. As a writer, I can clearly see in the article what Angel said, and what was paraphrased. There were only a couple of direct quotes from Angel and none of those were negative. Most of the article was paraphrased ON PURPOSE, FOR SURE. That’s why things got misconstrued, especially with the mentioning of the teammates names. I feel bad for everyone involved, but the article seemed to be agenda driven which is why Angel has to be so careful.

Angel with no Sloot: 15.9 pts, 12.5 rebs, 3.9 assists, 11.4 FGA, 49.4% FG
Should Angel only get 11.4 FGA when she's shooting a hair under 50% and the team is shooting 42.6%???
Even with no Sloot, Angel is not the centerpiece of the offense the way she needs to be

Did she say or did the journalist say she wants Tyler Marsh to coach her harder, more cohesive identy regardless of personnel
Who said Reese expects a roster overhaul of potentially nine roster spots, the journalist or Angel? Did the journalist write that Angel and Karmilla are the only 2 guarantees or was that a quote from Angel?
Was Angel quoted as saying a backup post, fleet of SGs, and PG was needed or did the journalist write that in her own words?
Did Angel say RayBan, HVL and Kia Nurse were playing out of their depth or was that written by the journalist?
This journalist knew what she was doing and this could've waited until after the season to be released
If a team official (likely comms) was there and didn't object, that tells me, this article was jazzed up to get this type of reaction
