The dumbest thing about the Sky suspending Angel for a half is that the article came out prior to their game against Connecticut. She said she apologized to her teammates. I thought that was the end of it. So she gets suspended the next game because she reached the threshold of 8 techs, then the team decides to send another message by suspending her for a half (where she ultimately didn’t play the enter game)?

It might be because it was a home game and it would be easier to do it on the road

Seattle would be cool because they don't have an NBA team anymore, so I know the Seattle Storm fans would appreciate it more than LA, Cali got a million sports teams.

I even like how the Storm's colors look like the Super Sonics

when I was a kid, even tho I've always been a Knicks fan, I thought the Sonics were dope, especially Shawn Kemp and Gary Payton.

the reason I would prefer the LA Sparks is because of entertainment value, especially with the arrival of Plum, and I also like seeing Cameron Brink get her blocks. But either way it's all good.

also, I'm not blind, I get the big deal about Caitlin, she has star power, but...if the WNBA was smarter they would promote the he11 outta Paige Bueckers too

as far as young white players Paige should be marketed as much as Clark, Paige got WAY MORE personality, she's way better looking than CC because CC is ugly, Paige is efficient, and she's a two-way player. And Paige hella funny too, a sense of humor can make you a star.

But I get it, Paige has a Black step mom, Black lil bro, and a Black girlfriend, and I know cacs hate how she talks about racism sometimes. She's too "woke" to be promoted like Clark, lol

Much of my bias for Seattle is tied to their coach. I want Noelle Quinn to be successful. The WNBA has only one Black head coach and that's just next level goofy. And that's one of the many problems with the league as a whole, it's just completely mismanaged.

You mentioned how you would like them to push Paige like they do Clark (and I've said this before) Clark's fame isnt a result of WNBA promotion. the WNBA doesn't promote it's stars. Clark already had this large (mostly MAGA) fanbase she developed in college and the WNBA just jumped on the bandwagon. Same can be said of Angel, Angel developed this large following in college by winning and capitalizing off of social media and the WNBA just jumped on the bandwagon.

The WNBA is dumb as heII and doesn't promote it's people so the players really have to promote themselves. That's the main reason Aja Wilson isn't bigger than what she is. I follow Sky team social media and the Chicago Sky don't even properly promote Angel. If she depended on them she would be incognito mode like the rest of these women. As someone who follows the Sky I want Angel to be successful in Chicago but I know that's probably not gonna happen. The Sky are a terrible franchise, like Donald Sterling era Clippers terrible. Maybe they can turn it around but I'm not gonna get my hopes up.

She needs to draw a line in the sand and give the team an ultimatum. And with the interview she gave she's basically done that already. This Jeff P. Sloot sh*t isn't gonna work and imo we'll know how serious the Sky ownership is if Jeff P. still has a job. If I was Angel, I'd force myself off the team if Jeff P. Is still employed after this season. In the meantime do Unrivaled, get money and prepare for what looks like an impending lockout.
