I really like this 1v1 format bc it's not something they are really prepared for the tempo of. I think the 3v3 was an easier adaptation in comparison but what I'm really curious about is how the players who played in this league vs the ones in AU return in the next W season.

Just caught up with the 1v1s and it was entertaining as hell. Unrivaled really have one with this whole set up. Next season when Paige, Flaujae and hopefully A’ja join, it’s gonna be next level.

SDS was so locked in that it was making me laugh. She didn’t crack a smile until she won

Stewie getting beat so easily shocked me but she looks like she’s been on holiday since the playoffs tbh.

My dark horses for this tournament are Rickea Jackson and Shakira Austin. I was shocked at how polished Austin’s game looks in a 1v1 format.

This can throw women’s hoops even further into a meteoric rise

It needs to come to the WNBA AllStar game. Throw Phee and Stew a bag & equity and take the idea.

Ultimately the W is going to last longer and be stronger socially than Unrivaled and in 30 years those women will be seen as integral pioneers of one of the biggest reasons of why WNBA is one of the top sports in the world in the documentary about this lol

They don't have to do that. They can just have their own 3 on 3 league in the summer and run Unrivaled out of business. It's how the NBA operates. They've always stole from other leagues. They will think something won't work and when they see it does, they develop their own product of the same kind. It's how the WNBA was born and ran the ABL out of business, even though the ABL were paying their players more.
