At the start of the season I said the Liberty should be a major storyline but all the W cares about is Stabler

The media didn't even care that AB was the best player on the floor vs the Liberty, they only focused on Stabler...highlighted her 18 pts & 10 dimes, no mention of the 10 TOs...not a spotlight on AB

Phee & the Lynx should be a bigger storyline, but no, Stabler eats up all the headlines

It's criminal how underrated so many W stars are like Nneka, Skylar, Plum, Gray, Alyssa Thomas, Satou, Sabrina, etc...

The Sky would’ve been better off drafting Rickea to pair with Angel than Kamilla. Kamilla just plays basketball because she’s tall and gets payed for it. Waste of height.

Rickea at the 3, Angel at the 4, and Williams at the 5 (although Williams did miss most of last season). I wonder if Chicago picked Rickea at #3, who would LA have drafted with Brink? Brink with Cardoso?

Don’t leave out Rebecca Lynn from this convo. Jackie is just too passive like last night she’s 7/11 why not shoot more shots. Instead Becky calls no sets for her and just lets Chelsea and jewell throw up bullshyt. You got Kiah who ain’t scored in any game yet. She barely play Liz because she don’t like to play young players really. We need to rebuild we don’t even have a GM. Mark davis has ruined us the way he ruined the raiders

@Doctor Doom I still can’t believe we Suck this bad man Chelsea is washed af. And honestly we should’ve gotten rid of Jackie instead of Kelsey because at least Kelsey was aggressive. Jackie if content just shooting 11 shots then she needs to get tf on. She’s the highest paid player on the team that’s unacceptable and A’ja gotta get it together idc if she’s getting doubled or not she had way to many careless plays yesterday too.

The problem with Aja/Jackie/etc. is the same shyt almost all of these big school players have outside of Stewie - They won't get aggressive outside of the system and won't call for the ball. They'll be content putting up sub 14 shots because it's in the office and they're just like "Our gameplan just didn't work out this time, that's why we lost"

Like no mf, you lost because yall stopped shooting and let dogshyt players put up near the same amount of shots.


It's why I'll always support the chicks who come from smaller schools and are aggressive in looking for their own shot. I've been saying it for awhile now, but I think the chokehold that the 5-7 schools in women's college hoops have done more harm than good for the women's game.

The problem with Vegas is the coach. In fact a lot of coaches suffer from forcing players to stick to their system, and the GM’s fail to get the right players for their system.

That’s why Plum left. Caitlin Clark has been successful because the team made an effort to build the system around her. To cater to her skill set. Rookies rarely get that opportunity.

It’s also why so few rookies make the team. Training camp is short and veterans basically have the advantage of knowing the system, probably because most coaches run the same thing. Satou Sabally left Dallas to play in Phoenix because the system in Dallas they was running was trash.

The coaches philosophy in Vegas used to be to simply outscore opponents. And if worked. They didn’t have to play much defense. Now they have 2 against guards in their lineup who don’t play defense and don’t score enough points. And they had a rookie guard that played well, during the preseason and they cut her.

And when she complained about veterans taking spots and blocking young players from making rosters, everyone shytted on her




But the exact same thing happened this year and people were asking why so and so got cut after playing well in the preseason.

I made a post in this thread stating that it was bound to happen. They are literally playing her almost the entire game EVERY game(not including overtimes) and her kkkraker fanbase are just showing up to see her play every minute of every game. Last season when Sides would take her out for 40 seconds, they'd be online complaining. When Taurasi came in the league, she wasn't playing this much and her minutes gradually decreased. Clark's fanbase is so goddamn stupid that they don't realize the body needs rest. Stewie started out playing all of these minutes in her rookie year and by her fourth season, she had torn her achilles. As a spurs fan, I want Wemby to play more, but not the entire game. Right now, Clark is playing more minutes per game than Wemby and he plays a 48-minute game. That's crazy.
