Yeah this might be the death knell for the current W. Outside of the morality thing, which doesn't matter if you actually search up who the NBA is/has been in league with, that pay alone gonna have the women sitting down with whoever and actually considering it.

Eventually, the WNBA is going to have to break away from under the NBA and become it's own self reliant entity if it's going to grow. Right now everyone is caught up in Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark, but the college and high school talent pool is growing with a ton of marketable/great players. They might end up bypassing the WNBA for more money. The WNBA sucks when it comes to marketing veterans and rookies. And the new fanbase in this country is ass. Most of which don't care about the sport or even know the rules. The WNBA was able to get away with the bullshyt for 2 decades because there weren't many teams and a handful of start players who were actually marketable. That's changing before it's eyes and they still treating the league like it's 2005.
