You haven't debunked anything. Not all the games work properly with just a controller. The software that maps keyboard inputs to a controller doesn't always work properly (as is the case with the Mass Effect power wheel). And I cannot completely control every function related to that PC with just the controller. I also can't play against people only using the controller. I'm not trying to get slaughtered in every FPS game playing against people using a mouse.

Wen I say I don't want to use a mouse or keyboard for anything whatsoever that's what I mean.

I kinda agree.

I prefer the controller to a keyboard/mouse combo.

And I know for a fact that playing with a controller vs nikkaz with keyboard/mice is suicide on FPS PC games.

That's understood time and time again, but the advantages of the pc are far greater than your little fit about not wanting to use a kb/m to what equates to minutes just to set up hours of the best gaming you are going to experience with a controller. Your friends argument doesn't really hold weight either because you can easily build up a friend list on steam and have several people ready to play 24/7.

Now if you are talking LOCAL multiplayer then you have an argument. All that other shyt you throw out there is a matter of getting used to it

We just gonna have to agree to disagree because 1) my friends argument does hold weight because playing with just 1 of my real life friends trumps playing with 100 people I only know as user names and 2) I really hate playing with a mouse and keyboard, I mean really hate it. If 100% of the developers committed to making sure their games worked with the controller and there were special filtering options to make sure I only played against people using the controller then maybe I would consider it. But I already know Mass Effect didnt work properly with just the controller and that was my favorite series this gen.

I was a Quake crackhead in college, so I know. That's why I always @ nikkaz who though Halo was the greatest thing since sliced bread, especially playing FPS's PCs.


PC >> Console. There is no debate.

But Consoles do have great exclusives and are generally more accessible to the common man. And they prefer an environment where everyone uses controllers and aren't at a disadvantage if they choose to.

I feel hella left out...i was an og pc gamer...from the COMMADORE AMIGA...apple iie...atari pc...i had every pentium chip ever...i talked about my past with FPS games...i played all the EA Games on console and pc and they were always better on pc (NHL 98 on pc..... )

In college, the 02-05 era...i just went console...never looked back...had good laptops but never a new gaming rig....its crazy cause that is when being a pc gamer became easier...

I've made my decision brehs. Time to build a new pc...first one ive built since freshman yr of college.

I'll keep you posted.
