OG Gamers its time we took our talents to PC

I feel hella left out...i was an og pc gamer...from the COMMADORE AMIGA...apple iie...atari pc...i had every pentium chip ever...i talked about my past with FPS games...i played all the EA Games on console and pc and they were always better on pc (NHL 98 on pc..... )

In college, the 02-05 era...i just went console...never looked back...had good laptops but never a new gaming rig....its crazy cause that is when being a pc gamer became easier...

I've made my decision brehs. Time to build a new pc...first one ive built since freshman yr of college.

But Consoles do have great exclusives and are generally more accessible to the common man. And they prefer an environment where everyone uses controllers and aren't at a disadvantage if they choose to.

I might be biased, but I see this gap narrowing soon (besides shyt that doesnt work as well on pc- ie lots of sport games) because of all the consoles moving to the x86 chipset

its so much easier to port shyt now.

cant lie there were times when I really wanted a game which wasnt ava on a PC. but I think Im at a point where this finna happen maybe like once a couple of years....

I switched to pc a while ago. I tell you what, aint nothing like playing something like crysis on a 60 inch then switching it up to final fantasy x without having to get up at all.

Can you do every single thing on that PC with just the controller? I'm talking about going to each gaming client, choosing games, adjusting options, turning it on and off, etc......does every game work properly with just the controller, if I use the controller will I be playing against other people who are only using the controller?

I'm going to be mainly a PC gamer next gen while only playing exclusives on consoles


PC gaming online is still free and will remain so. Although Sony's online price is relatively cheap its still a slap in the face that you have to pay to use your own internet


My only problem will be getting used to playing Battlefield on PC with a keyboard and Mouse

Considering my gaming rig will cost as much as a console i fail to see how its cheaping out. And i'm a gamer. Pc/console, the vast majority of games come out on everything...the lines are blurred.

For every generation but the last ive had both and bought games on both.

I ain't touched my xbox since dark souls came out....only time I fukk with consoles is when an exclusive I gotta play comes out for it. Between steam and torrents been on PC for a good min.
