:dahell:Botched back surgeries? I am 99.999999999% sure it has more to do with him rushing back to lifting every chance he got. Man wrecked himself and should have been taking it easy for years. He was getting it in whenever possible. I am also sure he wants no one to feel bad for him cause he is all smiles and admits he fukked himself. Asked about his regrets and they almost always center around not getting extra reps on a lift. He lived how he wanted and now lives how he can.
Messed up his back lifting 800, got surgery and was back at it the day after.:wow:

That’s that “For the love of the game”, Michael Jordan type obsessiveness. Threw away his future for greatness.:wow:

Man's talm bout stopping dead lifts and squats when he only go 2 days a week at most:mjlol:

Seriously, folks need to chill with that broscience bullshyt and listen to some REAL TRAINED EXPERIENCED HEALTH PROFESSIONALS like a medical doctor. Sites like bodybuilding.com misleading and miseducating millions about exercising and selling illusions..

All those weights and heavy lifting isn't good for the bones and joints. In other words, its not necessary to do all that.

And folks gotta start detaching from these illusions being pushed on what healthy or having good fitness looks like vs what it actually is. What Ronnie Coleman did to himself makes no sense. He busted himself up trying to be fit

I got a hernia last spring after doing trap bar dead lifts and leg presses. Now I can only do ham string curls, knee ext, and light lunges.:flabbynsick:

You arent the only one. Got told 4 years ago to stop deadlifting after I got sciatica. :picard: been learning calisthenics and going to the gym every two weeks while trying to do calisthenics routines the other two.

To be fair Ronnie fukked up his back and neck playing football at grambling state before he got into bodybuilding.

Edit: I just read that he first herniated his back in high-school trying to deadlift 450 pounds ....at 16 :francis:

You’re right.

I had to learn that the hard way but luckily my back is healed. I don’t go heavy anymore. Max I’ll do is probably 110 and that’s on preacher curls. I rather go mid till failure than heavy.

I’m in the best shape I’ve ever been and I never touch heavy shyt.

The irony of this being bro science

Weight lifting is actually good for your bones. Especially as you age.

he's had like 10 back surgeries or some shyt

also he was squatting 800lbs with a back that had been injured since his high school football playing days so I don't think it's an excuse for regular degular dudes to not lift lol
On here, that is exactly what it is. Most people on here wouldn't even total 800lbs with SBD but speak like they're experts :scust:
