I was watching this live sitting at the sportsbook. I honestly thought nothing of the incident until a old black man said something.

But this fight wasn't about the Giants. It was about Strickland. This beef goes back to a 2014 at bat in the playoffs where Harper took him deep. And they haven't faced each other since.

This wasn't Strickland doing the team's bidding because Harper pimped a homerun, talked shyt, etc. The Giants didn't care about this, this was a personal beef, and there's no honor in getting your entire team in a fight because you got a personal problem.

Posey knew what the jig was, and he sent a message by not stepping in front of Harper or even getting in the fight. He doesn't support that shyt, and I bet you'll find that a lot of guys on the team didn't support it.

Go back and look at the replay. Posey let that shyt happen with his hands on his hips. This dude is a hall of fame catcher, 3 Time World Series winner, and the captain of the team. He isn't sitting out for no goddamned reason. He didn't support this, thought it was selfish so he sent a message.
