The person who wrote this tweet must not realize that OSU already have two receivers who will most likely be 1st round picks in 2022 too (Olave and Wilson). Williams was just in a shytty spot and was able to shine by going to Bama. OSU is not the first nor last school where players get frustrated for lack of PT due to competition and want to go someone else. If Pope quit during the week, nobody would have gave a peep but since it was live on tv during the middle of the game, it's a bigger matter than what it is.

It’s obvious favoritism is at play in your program, shyt it happens at all programs, we had it with brown, hopefully things can come together for that young man

None of us know what is going on behind the scenes. He could have a bad attitude, not studying enough, in the coaches doghouse or just can't beat the younger guys in the same spot. That is the game when playing for a big time program. There is always going to be younger guys want to take your spot and play, especially if the know if they are better than you. If he couldn't beat out the linebackers from last year (and they were not good), then it may be for the best he moved on to a team where he can play. But he should have know that you can't quit during the game. It makes him look immature and other teams will notice. He should have handle it in another way or left earlier in the year when he had a chance.

I’m assuming he’s not a potential NFL player right? If that’s the case fukk it. He probably is close to his degree.

Life’s about growing, i can only hope he finds his way, and finds a team where he can play, it’s easy to say man I’d never do that, but it could be literally frustrating that a weak nikka waving him off and coach ain’t intervening

Man either you get it or you don’t. None of that matters. That shyt matters to other people, not him. I bet dude was calm as fukk and at peace with the shyt, and judging from the way his teammates described in the video, seem like he was. That’s cause who do you think thought about the consequences of that decision more that him? No one lol. He know what he’s doing. When you do some shyt like this, you might not have thought about actually quitting, but you already been checked out and ready to go. So when that moment comes out the blue, you think about it for a quick second and all the consequences and be like yeah, fukk it. It’s a very liberating experience.
he's a young college player

a kid...you barely know the consequences of your decisions when youre that young

im almost 40...
...I can say with 100% certainty that you have no idea what life is about at that age.

I think back to some of the shyt I did/said in my 20's :francis:

also...in the workforce, college athletes get a major leg up...
...and then youre talking about a school like Ohio State!?
Thats an easy life
